Graduated from the Moscow Conservatory. The pianist performs extensively throughout the country as a soloist and chamber music performer (up to 150 concerts a year). Together with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Ponkin, Viktor Yampolsky released two discs with concerts by Mozart and Beethoven.
He is a regular participant in the subscriptions of the Moscow Philharmonic in the Big and Small Halls of the Conservatory, as well as in the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall. Its concert geography began to expand after 1991. The pianist performs at Verdi Hall in Milan, Wigmore Hall and South Bank Center in London, at the Krakow Philharmonic Hall.
From 1991 to 1996, Viktor Yampolsky participated in the Ensemble of Contemporary Music Soloists "ASM" and had the opportunity of creative communication with the most famous composers of Russia - such as Alfred Schnittke, Edison Denisov, Sofya Gubaidullina.
