On July 14, 2018 a gala concert dedicated to the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup was held at the Russian State Academic Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. The gala evening was opened by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Head of the International Football Federation (FIFA) Gianni Infantino, who presented welcoming speeches. Hans-Joachim Frey was the stage director of this event.
